Health care workers are not the only ones going through acute mental anguish during the pandemic, but many citizens as well as the number of prescriptions for antidepressant, anti-anxiety and anti-insomnia medications filled per week increased 21% between Feb. 16 and March 15, 2020, according to a new report by Express Scripts. Prescription claims peaked during the week ending March 15, when the COVID-19 was declared a pandemic. The article belongs to a series of recent warnings about the implications of the current pandemic on the public’s psychological health; for example, more than 4 in 10 Americans are feeling lonelier now than ever before.

No doubt, health care staff has Frontline role in fighting against coronavirus. There must be initiatives to maintain their physical as well as mental health. It is a dare to launch both financial programs for them.
